Profoto head-hunted Andrea Belluso for his deep knowledge of photographic light and light shaping.
Andrea Belluso’s 10-year long collaboration with Profoto began with the title of Academy Manager, where the job was to create and manage from idea to execution a lighting academy first aimed at agents and retailers across the globe to increase their level of knowledge about the properties of each light shaping tool (B2B) and then grew to educating professional photographers worldwide on how to be more unique and creative with light shaping (B2C). Then Andrea Belluso’s roles continued to increase, leading to being Creative Director and Photographer for many campaigns for different products.

The main role that Andrea Belluso is known for is the Profoto video series “Tips and Tricks from The Light Shaper” for which he was given the name “The Light Shaper” that gave him his reputation in the international photographic community.

Andrea Belluso was the Creative Director, photographer and was also in front of the camera for this well-known series.

Both the campaigns and his B2B and B2C worldwide tours resulted in consideralbe increases increase in sales and brand awareness for Profoto, as much as 70% in the Middle East just after Andrea Belluso’s tour in the region.
